Diving in Anegada

Diving the Reefs & Wrecks of Anegada

US Virgin Islands & BVI

Anegada sits atop Horseshoe Reef — the largest barrier reef in the Caribbean and the third largest on Earth. Over 300 shipwrecks lie scattered across these shallow waters, creating an underwater world that rivals any dive destination in the hemisphere. This flat, coral island is remote, uncrowded, and absolutely worth the journey.

Your 3-Day Sample Itinerary

1

Horseshoe Reef Snorkel & Loblolly Bay

Join a guided snorkel trip to Horseshoe Reef — the massive barrier reef that circles Anegada's northern shore. Spot sea fans, brain coral, and reef sharks in the shallows. Cool off at Loblolly Bay with lunch at Big Bamboo beach bar.

2

Shipwreck Exploration & Flash of Beauty

Explore the remains of 18th and 19th-century shipwrecks scattered across the reef — including the famous Rocus wreck. In the afternoon, snorkel Flash of Beauty Beach for some of the clearest water in the BVI.

3

Conch Shell Island & Sunset at Setting Point

Take a boat to Conch Shell Island — a tiny islet built entirely of conch shells. Snorkel the surrounding shallows, then return for a lobster dinner at Setting Point as the sun drops behind the mangroves.
